MAKING MEMORIES . . ONE PLATE AT A TIME

With such widespread, unemployment and money worries, it may surprise many to hear me talking about dinnerware pieces . . not a priority purchase for a struggling family.

Maybe it's my age, I now look at things a little differently than I did 30 years ago, when I was struggling just to survive with young children.  I do wish that I had paid more attention to the small stuff.  For instance, a wholesome dinner on a special plate . . . not expensive, and maybe only one, but "special."  Something that would make meal-time feel elegant and not at a great expense.

The difference between stoneware and porcelain (as they say) is "night and day."  Bone china, which you many assume is  very expensive, IS NOT, it's reasonably priced and adds so much to a meal.

Make your meal special!  A little imagination . . mix and match, have fun with your place settings and enjoy.

Don't wait, as I did, make meals special and, more importantly, make memories.
